Type "PF" Pressure Blower

Our "PF" Pressure Blowers are single stage blowers for applications requiring high to moderate volumes at relatively high pressures.  The open type impellers are of welded construction, and statically and dynamically balanced to assure smooth operation.  The housings are of heavy welded plate with suitable bracing to withstand high pressures.  Typical application are cooling, drying, exhausting, gas boosters and ejector venturi.  The "PF" pressure blowers are available for corrosive or elevated temperature applications.

"PF" Blowers have been developed for heavy industrial uses requiring proven performance and reliability in moderate to high air volumes at relatively high pressure application.  Type "PF" Blowers are designed for capacities from 1500 CFM to 20000 CFM and pressures to 62" S.P.  Units are available in arrangements 1 & 8 for operation up to 1260 degrees Fahrenheit.  Features include high efficiency wheels constructed of various alloys, heavy-duty housings and air or water cooled bearings.  Single wall uninsulated housings are standard, double wall insulated housing are available.  Direct driven on V-belt driven fans are also available. 

Air Cooling
Air cooled construction is standard where the fan is not sealed for a special atmosphere, and the system has a slight negative pressure.

Special Construction
Type "PF" Pressure Blowers can be furnished for applications where corrosion or elevated temperatures are involved.  Both our heavy duty fan wheel & housing is fully welded steel or stainless steel depending on application and are of heavy gauge material.

Water Cooling
Water cooled construction is necessary when a mechanical shaft seal is being used for a special atmosphere or when there is a positive pressure in the system to protect bearings against premature failure.

Shaft Seals
Radial lip seals and mechanical shaft seals are available for special atmospheres.
